How to use
Generic Micronase (Glyburide) should be taken orally with your breakfast or first main meal of the day. This medication is usually taken once a day, but your doctor may decide to change the dosage bases on your condition and response to treatment. Follow his instructions carefully.
Take Generic Micronase (Glyburide) regularly and at approximately the same time each day to enjoy its maximum benefits. Check your blood sugar levels on a regular basis and share the results with your doctor.
Overdose Possible symptoms of a Generic Micronase (Glyburide) overdose include:
- Shakiness
- Rapid heartbeat
- Sweating
- Loss of consciousness
If you think you have taken too much of this medication, you should contact your local poison control center or the emergency medical services immediately.
Missed dose If you miss a dose of Generic Micronase (Glyburide), take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue as normal with your regular schedule. Do not double up on this medication to make up for a missed dose.
Notes Generic Micronase (Glyburide) works best if used in combination with a healthy diet and regular exercise. This medication can be used in conjunction with but does not replace any other anti-diabetes medication you may be taking.
Your doctor will schedule regular medical and laboratory tests to check for side effects and your response to treatment. Do not miss any of these appointments.
Do not share this medication with others as they may have a condition that is not adequately treated with Generic Micronase (Glyburide).
Storage
Store Generic Micronase (Glyburide) at room temperature and away from light and moisture. Storage temperatures differ according to different manufacturers. When fully used, dispose of this medication in accordance with environmental laws. KEEP THIS AND ALL OTHER MEDICATION OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
